Observational Cosmologist at the Instituto de Ciencias Fisicas - UNAM (2017 - )

I started my career as a theoretical cosmologist and slowly moving to statistics, data science and machine learning.

My research focuses on the exploration and analysis of astrophysical and cosmological observations; on the study of Dark energy, Dark Matter and Inflationary models through Bayesian statistics and scientific computation (Machine Learning).

I am co-author of several codes, including the SimpleMC code developed for the BOSS collaboration and initially released at .
